Misty Fjords Wilderness Tour

Day Tour of the Misty Fjords National Monument
$300 per person
minimum 4 persons

Experience first hand the majestic beauty of America’s largest national forest in a relaxing manner. The Frieda Mae II is a comfortable vessel that is maneuverable enough to get close to the vertical walls of soaring cliffs and cold waterfalls, allowing you to experience firsthand the crispness of icy-cold glacier water.

This day long excursion is the ultimate way to enjoy relaxed cruising through narrow fjords while enjoying a wellspring of geological diversity. Many opportunities exist to observe wildlife, view the 3,000 feet soaring cliffs from ocean level, and stop for Kodak moments. You call the shots - ask the  skipper to stop for a while to view the picturesque New Eddystone Rock, or stop for a little longer to enjoy the solitude of the Misty Fjords.

You will view the Seal Rocks that are home to numerous seals. Ever present bald eagles often share space on the rocks or can be seen soaring throughout the Monument. Guillemonts and marbled murrelets dot the waters of the fjord. Other sea birds nest in mossy niches along the cliffs.

Your personalized charter includes complimentary snacks and beverages.
